Memorial

The dedication and remembrance ceremony is set for Saturday, October 18, 2008,  at Clay Senior High School's Memorial Stadium, in Oregon, Ohio.  Ohio Ninth District Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur is set to deliver the keynote address. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 12 noon and is planned to last one hour.  All Veterans and the general public are invited to attend this ceremony to honor those men and women from our community who served in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam War.

Veterans from all over the United States who were with our fallen servicemen when they died will be coming to attend the memorial ceremony.  Many Vietnam Veterans will be riding in the motorcycle Honor Ride that will roll into the stadium parking lot just prior to the start of the ceremony.
